Prof. Wenbo Mi received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Physics from Tianjin University in 2001, 2004 and 2006, respectively. Then he became an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Physics, Tianjin University and was promoted as a full professor in 2013. He was a visiting scholar in 2008 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and then he became a Postdoc Fellow in the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in 2010. His research interests mainly focus on the theoretical design, fabrication and physical properties of low-dimensional spintronic materials. He has published more than two hundred peer-reviewed SCI papers such as Adv. Mater.、Natl. Sci. Rev.、Nat. Comm.、Adv. Funct. Mater.、Adv. Electron. Mater.、Acta Mater.、ACS Nano、ACS AMI、Phys. Rev. (Appl.、Mater.、B)、Appl. Phys. Lett. etc. The papers were cited by other authors with four thousand and three handred times from SCI indexed papers. Nine invention patents were authorized. Five national and eight provincial foundations were obtained as the principle investigator. The Second Prize of Tianjin Nature Science Award was obtaind in 2012. Three books named “Spintronics Basis" (in Chinese) published in 2013,"High Spin Polarized Magnetic Materials" (in Chinese) published in 2015 and “Low dimensional magnetic materials” (in Chinese) published in 2020.
