Brief Introduction

现任天津大学环境科学与工程学院博士生导师,墨尔本大学高级访问学者,湖南省国际稻都农业技术研究院研究员,科学中国人2018年度人物。聚焦生态环境治理需求前沿,在农耕土壤修复、常温催化、空气碳捕集等生态环境治理方面开展了特色的原创性研究。以“理论研究-技术突破-应用示范”为路径,已形成2套技术创新体系(1项国际领先,1项国内领先),制定2项标准,产学研紧密结合产生了科学价值和社会经济效益。

1.创制有机-矿质复合体(OMC)材料,揭示其介导的碳、氮、重金属等重要元素生物地球化学循环机理以及对作物根际微生态的影响。创新性地提炼总结出“钝、代、促、供”的边修复、边增产土壤生态修复方针:通过OMC“钝”化土壤重金属,改变重金属在土壤中的赋存状态,阻控重金属向植物根系迁移;复合菌种“代”谢土壤持久性有机污染,降解多环芳烃和草甘膦等农药;藻-菌共生体“促”进重塑土壤微生物群落结构,改变退化、酸化、盐碱化、污染化土壤的微生物区系;有机-矿质复合体材料提“供”土壤小分子有机碳和中微量元素,进而提质增产。核心产业化技术成果形成了自主知识产权专利群,“可替代化肥的增产型土壤修复生态肥料”达到国际领先水平,获得省部级等奖励5项,制定了《微藻有机肥》团体标准(T/CI 068-2022)。应用于湖南水稻种植的研究成果得到袁隆平院士认可并颁发聘书。“边修复、边增产”土壤修复技术产品已在祖国大江南北示范万亩以上,前景应用广阔。研究成果被人民周刊、中国日报网、教育部政府门户网、头条新闻网、科学中国人等多家媒体报道。

2.颠覆性提出常温催化消减难降解VOCs新理念,揭示了常温条件下催化氧化VOCs的作用机理。在此之前,难降解VOCs的催化需要输入光、热、电等能量辅助催化反应,无能量辅助的常温催化VOCs降解,成为学术界的巨大挑战。原创成果发表在ES&T等期刊,阐明了常温催化生成自由基反应机理,并揭示了VOCs的降解机制。ES&T高度评价本研究为:“Use of novel catalysts in normal temperature catalytic oxidation (NTCO) for volatile organic compound (VOC) abatement has milestone significance”常温催化消减VOCs具有里程碑意义。新浪科技网、天津大学新闻网、凤凰网、北极星环保网等多家媒体报道,常温催化概念已被学术界认可。该技术可应用于农业设施病毒与细菌的防控、畜牧业臭气治理、室内外空气污染防治。

3.开发了从大气中直接捕获二氧化碳的新型(DAC)技术,该技术可从环境空气中直接捕集二氧化碳和纯水,进一步提高了直接空气捕获的经济可行性。

任现职以来,得到国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家重点研发计划、天津市科技支撑等项目资助。第一作者或通讯作者代表性论文发表在Nat. Commun.、Environ. Sci. Technol.、J. Hazard. Mater.、Chem. Eng. J等TOP期刊。原创成果授权国际专利、中国发明专利90余项,主编专著2部,制定团体标准2项,获得了省部级及社会力量奖励7项;常温催化VOCs专利技术转化1项,土壤修复专利技术成果转化1项,产学研用成效显著。
