Bin Li was born in China, in 1976. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Tianjin University (TJU), Tianjin, China, in 2006. From 2004 to 2009, he was a Lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering & Automation, TJU. Since 2009, he has been an Associate Professor at TJU. As a Visiting Scholar, he was with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL, USA, from March 2014 to March 2015. His current research interests include electric machine design and control.
