天津大学建筑工程学院教授、常务副院长。获国家杰出青年科学基金、天津市首批杰出青年科学基金资助，获天津青年科技奖等。长期从事建筑结构抗爆分析与设计研究，系统研究了建筑抗爆设防标准与爆炸荷载模型、建筑构件抗爆设计与防护技术、建筑结构连续倒塌分析与防倒塌设计等，发展了建筑结构抗爆设计理论与方法。
出版著作1部，发表学术论文100余篇，单篇SCI他引最高300次。获国家科技进步二等奖1项、天津市科技进步一等奖2项。兼任《建筑结构学报》、《国际防护结构学报 International Journal of Protective Structures》编委等。

1.Structural Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation
The research team of “Structural Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation” is a high-level innovation team formed in the development process of the State Key Discipline of Structural Engineering of Tianjin University. The team carries out innovative research on high-performance structural systems such as steel structures, space structures and modular structures, seismic vibration damping of buildings and bridges, and blast protection of building structures.
There are 12 team members, including 5 professors, 4 associate professors, 2 associate researchers, 1 engineer, 7 doctoral supervisors and 3 master's supervisors.
Team leader:
Li Zhongxian, Professor, Ph. D., Tianjin University, is the director of the Institute of Bridge and Structural Engineering and the director of the Key Experiment of the Ministry of Education of Binhai Civil Engineering Structure and Safety.
