Brief Introduction

Dr. Lin Zhang is a Professor in School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University in China. He received his bachelor degree (2003) and PhD (2008) at Tsinghua University. Then he moved to Tianjin University as a postdoctoral research fellow, where he became an Associate Professor in 2010 and a Professor in 2016. He worked as a Visiting Student in University of California at Riverside for half a year from March 2006, and worked as a Visiting Scholar in University of Washington for one year from January 2015. His current research is focused on interfacial behaviors of protein molecules, including protein chromatography, thrombus formation and self-assembly process. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers in international journals as first author or corresponding author, 1 US patent and 4 China patents. He is a senior member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and Editor of Bioresources and Bioprocessing.
